I really can't say enough about BYA. I just started coming to this studio about a month ago. I've had issues with my left knee from surgeries because of martial arts but within a month I've already regained the flexibility in my knee. I do come multiple times a week but it's the best way to see your practice grow. As I'm getting older my body and health have become extremely important to me. I've also lost that pandemic 20 that I put on during covid. The teachers here are very supportive of where the individual is with their body. I never feel judged and I always feel welcomed. The staff have reached out to me numerous times to see how I'm doing, it really makes you feel like you're part of a bigger community and you're not on this journey alone. If you're hesitant to try it, don't be, you won't know until you come.

BYA is consistently careful with its COVID protocols, plus it ONLY offers the 90-minute Bikram classes, which I love. The hot room, especially the Falls Church location, is hot and humid when everything is working. They recently repaired their humidifier bringing the hot room environment back to its previous "hot and juicy" level. I also love how the teachers quickly learn your name and use it throughout the dialogue to correct and compliment our postures.

In short... I'm a beginner/ intermediate and from my observations they try to do everything the right way. The instructors are positive and the facilities always maintained. Alexandria is overcrowded and you have to deal with the nasty family/kid business nextdoor. Since they moved in parking has been difficult and they are nasty and careless people. I don't like them. And they are family environment?! I would avoid Alexandria. Besides that Jen runs anexcellent business.

I have been doing BYA's virtual classes since they started streaming them. The classes are so wonderful and the instructors are so ENTHUSIASTIC even though we are not all together. The only difference is the heat and the people! I've actually grown in my practice since I've been doing it at home but I can't wait until we are all back together again.

Love this place very much helps a lot with my back pain and stress. At first seems a bit pricey for a month to month membership but you go often like me, it’s worth the price instead of paying $25 a class. Love the introductory deal let’s you try it out before you commit. Once you visit you’ll definitely want to attend another class. Please please please don’t forget to hydrate. Hydration is key to being able to stay in the class the full length of time. However no shame is casted upon you if you need to walk out for a second. Instructors are excellent as well. I often am in classes with the owner so it’s very homey. Want to become a yogi? Start here!

Love the new ownership of our Falls Church studio. Their dedication to the Bikram 90-minute practice is admirable and something I so appreciate. I’ve had five different teachers since Jen took over and each has been fabulous...I’ve learned something new from each of them. And the last three classes have had just the right heat and humidity. I have attended this hot yoga studio for almost 5 years. I the 1st 3 years, I tried other N VA Bikram Yoga studios; however have always been the most pleased with the facilities and consistency of good instructors that have lead the classes at the Alexandria studio. The original owner of the Alexandria studio had started some of the other area Bikram studios, and then conveyed them to qualified owners. The Alexandria studio was his last before he retired; having sold it to Jennifer, the current owner who has ELEVATED the overall QUALITY of this facility, and maintained the tradition of having qualified and caring instructors. If you're looking for a Hot Yoga studio with high standards, and is committed to diversity and inclusiveness, then this is the best Bikram Hot Yoga studio in WDC area; easy to get to with plenty of unrestricted free parking. You may sweat a LOT during the 90 minute session, but you'll leave the 90 minute session knowing you've participated with a whole range of participants that LIKE what this unique place is all about. BRAVO to Jennifer and the staff!

IveI'been gone to this place since 10yrs ago when JIM was owner. After Jennifer took over, place is gotten so much cleaner and more organized. Each time I visitv there's different improvements I notice and Hot room doesn't smell like sweaty moldy smells, which most Bikram yoga places have distictibly have and new floor is very nice to help that.Michael has been there long enough to put his heart and love for Bikram yoga since he moved here from NYC.Parking seem to become little hassle by all other businesses next doors but they are keeping themselves grown and continuing good job! 👍🙏🙏 Namaste

I had to take a month off from the hot room, but have been back for three weeks now. It helps my physical recovery so much that my doctors cannot believe how fast I am getting my movements back. Love everything about the studio. Thank you sooooooo much Bikram of Alexandria!!!!!!!!!
